Kaiber and Revid AI are both AI video tools, but they are built for different people. Kaiber is made for musicians and artists who want striking visuals, with a canvas of AI models and a Beat Sync tool that cuts footage to a track. Revid is made for creators who want to grow on social media, with a video generator that also finds viral ideas, publishes for you and runs on autopilot. I compared both from their own websites and pricing pages on 27 October 2026.
Kaiber overview
Kaiber’s homepage leads with music: upload your song, choose a creative direction and turn it into a music video. Kaiber Canvas brings together leading models (Seedance, Minimax, FLUX.3, Nano Banana, Kling and Veo) with curated workflows such as Music Video Sequence, Animate Image, Edit Image, Image Remix, Make Them Talk, Frame-to-Frame Video, Background Swap and Combine Images. Kaiber Beat Sync takes images, clips or a long video plus a track and returns up to 10 beat-synced videos, with scene cuts, image variations, auto lyrics, auto-clipping and moodboard to motion. There is also a timeline editor.
Revid AI overview
Revid describes itself as one membership for the whole growth loop: create, publish, learn and repeat. Its plans include turning ideas or links into videos, a library of 3M+ viral videos to remix, publishing to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X, post stats with one-click remix, and watching channels for viral ideas. On the creation side it lists Seedance 2.5 and other models up to 4K, 100+ AI video tools, avatars, face swaps, podcasts and voiceovers in 70+ languages. Auto-Mode workers create and post videos on a schedule, and Growth and above include API, MCP and CLI access.
Music video and visual features
For music, Kaiber is the more specialised tool. Beat Sync auto-syncs cuts to your track, detects lyrics for text overlays, offers no-prompt image to video and can batch create several versions at once (2 on Creator, 10 on Pro). Revid lists music video creation as a feature, but its plans and tools are aimed more at short-form social content than at artist visuals.
For general short-form content (faceless channels, explainers, reels), Revid’s script, visuals, voice, captions and editing workflow is more complete, and the publishing and stats side has no equivalent in Kaiber.
Video generation models and platform approach
Neither company trains the main video models it offers. Both act as a platform across several third-party models, so the quality of a clip depends heavily on the model you choose. Kaiber lets you pick the model on its canvas for each generation (for example Kling for artistic and cinematic clips, Veo for realism with audio, or Nano Banana for images). Revid lists Seedance 2.5 and other models up to 4K inside its 100+ AI video tools, and leans more on templates and remixing than on choosing models by hand.
The working style is different too. Kaiber feels like a creative studio: you build on a canvas, run several generations at once (3 on Starter, 15 on Creator, unlimited on Pro) and refine in the editor. Revid feels like a content engine: you give it an idea, a link or a viral video to remix, and it produces a finished short with script, voice and captions, ready to publish.
Neither has a permanent free tier on its pricing page. Kaiber’s $5 trial is the cheapest paid way to try either tool, and every paid Kaiber plan includes commercial use. Revid’s plans cover rendering, publishing and stats in one membership, which is good value if you would otherwise pay for a scheduler as well.
Pricing compared
| Tier | Kaiber | Revid |
|---|---|---|
| Try it | $5 for 5 days, then converts to Creator | No free plan listed |
| Entry | Starter $10/month: 500 credits, 1 canvas, no Beat Sync | Hobby $39/month: text or link to video, viral remix library |
| Main | Creator $29/month: 1,500 credits, 5 canvases, Beat Sync | Growth $99/month list, shown at $39/month with a locked-in discount: 2,000 credits, publishing, 3 Auto-Mode workers |
| Top | Pro $99/month: 5,000 credits, unlimited canvases | Ultra $199/month: 12,000 credits, 10 Auto-Mode workers, voice cloning |
| Extras | Credit packs from $5 (300 credits) to $250 (20,000) | Higher credit tiers up to 200,000 a month |
Kaiber is cheaper to start and offers 20% off annual billing. Revid’s discount on Growth makes it the same price as Hobby on the page I saw, which suggests Growth is the plan most people should pick. Both include commercial use: Kaiber lists it on every plan, and Revid says you keep 100% content ownership.
Limits and drawbacks
- Kaiber’s $5 trial converts to the $29 Creator plan unless you cancel.
- Kaiber’s Starter plan has no Beat Sync, which is its main music feature.
- Revid has no free plan listed, and its pricing page shows discounted prices that may change.
- Auto-posting AI videos at volume can hurt an account if the content is low quality, so review what goes out.
Comparison verdict, which tool should you pick?
I would pick Kaiber if you’re a musician, label or visual artist and the music video is the product. The Creator plan is the one to aim for, because that is where Beat Sync starts.
I would pick Revid if your goal is growing social accounts with regular short-form video and you want ideas, creation and posting in one place.
Kaiber alternatives, Runway, Pika and Luma Dream Machine
- OpenArt: 100+ image and video models plus Music Video sync and Director.
- Kling AI: Kling’s own video models with a free Basic plan.
- Runway, Pika and Luma Dream Machine: other AI video generators that come up in the same searches. I have not covered their plans here.
