InVideo and Fliki are both AI video tools, and both can turn an idea or script into a finished video. They have moved in different directions, though. InVideo has become a platform built around AI agents, generative video models such as Seedance and a professional timeline editor. Fliki stays focused on turning text (ideas, scripts, blog posts and slides) into narrated videos with a large AI voice library. I compared them from each vendor’s pricing page on 27 October 2026. Fliki showed prices in pounds for my UK visit.
InVideo platform overview
InVideo’s pricing page is built around credits and models. Every plan includes the InVideo editor with multiplayer editing, a full timeline editor and professional tools for colour, audio and 3D. Plans differ in which AI agents and models you can use: Starter has Agent Two Lite and Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini, while Plus and Max add Agent Two Pro and Ultra, Seedance 2.5 at 1080p and Seedance 2.0 at 4K. Image generation with Nano Banana Pro is priced in credits too, and InVideo was running a 30-day unlimited image offer on annual plans when I checked. Premium stock footage, storage (200GB to 2,000GB) and guest seats scale with the plan.
Fliki overview
Fliki calls itself an AI partner for video creation and says it has 14M+ users and 100M+ videos created. Its workflows include idea to video, script to video, blog post to video, PPT to video, recording to polished video, plus audio, thumbnail, social carousel and presentation generators. The free plan includes 300 voices across 80+ languages, stock images, video clips and music, and AI images. Standard adds 1,000 voices (500 ultra-realistic), 1080p, videos up to 15 minutes, translation into 80+ languages, voice cloning, limited stock avatars and commercial rights. Premium adds 2,000+ voices, videos up to 40 minutes, AI video clips, photo avatars, all AI avatars, multiple voice clones, brand kits and API access.
InVideo vs Fliki, feature comparison
Generating footage
This is InVideo’s main advantage. With access to Seedance models on Plus and Max, you can generate new video clips rather than relying on stock footage. Fliki’s Premium plan also generates AI video clips, but its pricing estimate assumes AI video and avatars appear in only part of a video, with stock or uploaded footage making up the rest.
Voice and language
Fliki leads on voiceover. Its plans list exact voice counts, ultra-realistic voices, multilingual expressive voices on Premium, voice cloning and translation into 80+ languages. That makes it a strong choice for faceless YouTube channels, explainer videos and audio content.
Stock footage and AI avatars
Both include stock media. InVideo’s plans list 100, 200 or 500 premium stock footage items depending on the plan, alongside its generative models. Fliki includes stock images, video clips and music on every plan, which suits text-to-video work where the footage illustrates the narration. For a presenter on screen, Fliki offers limited stock avatars on Standard and all AI avatars plus photo avatars on Premium. InVideo’s pricing page does not list avatars as a headline feature.
Editing
InVideo includes a full timeline editor and professional colour, audio and 3D tools on every plan, plus multiplayer editing for up to 20 seats on Max. Fliki’s editor is aimed at scene-based editing of text-led videos rather than detailed timeline work.
Pricing compared
| Tier | InVideo (per seat) | Fliki (per user, UK prices) |
|---|---|---|
| Free | No free plan listed | £0: 3 credits a month, 720p, watermark, 5 minute exports |
| Entry | Starter $20/month ($10 yearly): 400 credits | Standard £20/month: 180 credits, 1080p, 15 minute videos |
| Middle | Plus $60/month ($30 yearly): 2,000 credits, Seedance 2.5 | Premium £65/month: 600 credits, 40 minute videos, API |
| Top | Max $150/month ($75 yearly): 5,000 credits, lowest cost per credit | Enterprise: custom |
InVideo’s annual billing halves the price, which makes Starter $10 a seat a month. Fliki’s yearly billing saves 40%, and it was running a Halloween discount code when I checked. Both use credits, so output depends on what you generate: InVideo estimates about 30 credits per Seedance 2.0 Fast video and 2.5 credits per Nano Banana Pro image, while Fliki estimates about 0.5 credits per minute for stock-based video with AI voiceover.
Typical workflows
A blogger or educator using Fliki would paste a blog post link or script, pick a voice and language, let Fliki match stock visuals to each scene, adjust a few scenes and export. A product marketer could do the same with a slide deck using PPT to video. The visual side is simple, and the voiceover does most of the work.
A creator using InVideo would usually start with an agent, describe the video, generate clips and images with the chosen models, then refine the result in the timeline editor with colour and audio tools, sharing the project with colleagues through multiplayer editing. It is closer to a full production tool, with the extra cost and learning that brings.
Support is worth checking too: Fliki lists priority support on Premium, and InVideo reserves SOC 2 and single sign-on for Enterprise.
Limits and drawbacks
- InVideo has no free plan on its pricing page, and Starter has no access to Seedance 2.5 or 2.0.
- InVideo’s credit costs for generated video add up quickly on heavy projects.
- Fliki’s free plan is tiny (3 credits) and watermarked.
- Fliki’s AI video clips and avatars need the Premium plan.
Which AI video tool should you pick?
I would pick Fliki if your videos start from text and the voice matters most: blog posts turned into videos, training narration, faceless channels or multilingual content. Its free plan lets you try the workflow, and Standard covers most creators.
I would pick InVideo if you want AI-generated footage, a proper timeline editor and team editing, especially on annual billing where Plus at $30 a seat gives access to all Seedance models.
Alternative AI video tools for creators
- HeyGen: talking avatar videos with AI video generation on higher plans.
- Vidnoz AI: a cheaper avatar video tool with templates and a daily free allowance.
- ElevenLabs: if you only need the voiceover, not the video.
