Our verdict

Distribb suits small business owners and founders who want hands-off blog publishing and are happy to review drafts and switch off the parts they are unsure of. Skip it if your site matters too much to risk link exchanges or mass-published AI content, or if you want a research tool you drive yourself.

Best for: Founders wanting hands-off blog publishing

What we like

  • Covers keyword research, writing, images and CMS publishing in one subscription.
  • Connects to WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Wix, Ghost, Notion and Framer.
  • You can require manual approval before anything is published.
  • Search Console data and AI visibility tracking sit in the same dashboard.
  • Support comes directly from the two co-founders, with calls you can book.

Think twice if

  • The backlink exchange resembles the excessive link exchanges Google's spam policies warn about.
  • Pro is $97 a month and Accelerator $495 a month on monthly billing.
  • Mixed Trustpilot reviews, including complaints about irrelevant articles and billing.
  • Daily AI-written publishing risks thin, scaled content if you do not edit it.

What Distribb is and who it is for

Distribb is an AI SEO automation platform. You enter your website, connect your CMS and describe your business, and it researches keywords, writes articles, adds images and publishes them to your blog on a content calendar. On top of that it offers a backlink exchange network, link outreach to "best of" roundups, done-for-you social content and tracking of whether AI chatbots cite you.

It is run by two co-founders, Borja Obeso and Florian Darroman, who say they have 30 years of SEO experience between them. The pitch is aimed at founders and small business owners who want organic traffic without hiring an SEO agency or writing content themselves. Its focus is what it calls buy-intent keywords, meaning searches close to a purchase, such as comparisons and "best tool for" queries.

To use Distribb, the vendor describes a simple first week: connect your site and pick your niche on day one, see the first articles published on days two and three, and have the backlink exchange start placing links on days four and five if you switch it on.

Key Distribb features and integrations

Keyword research and content autopilot

Distribb's AI agent does the keyword research automatically, then plans clusters of articles with internal links between related pages. The vendor says each article is over 4,500 words with images, internal links and FAQ schema, and that content is available in more than 150 languages. You can embed YouTube videos and edit drafts with AI commands or a traditional editor.

CMS publishing

Articles publish to WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Wix, Ghost, Notion and Framer, among others. You can choose to publish on schedule or to require manual approval first, and switch modes at any time. I would keep approval on, at least at the start.

Backlink exchange

The backlink exchange is a toggle in the dashboard. Once it is on, your site joins a network of other Distribb customers who place contextual links to each other, and every link is tracked in the dashboard. Distribb says this raises your Domain Rating and that the network uses quality controls to avoid link schemes.

Link outreach

The agent finds ranking roundup articles that mention your competitors but not you, digs up the author's contact and drafts a pitch. On Pro you get the research and drafts to send yourself. On Accelerator, Distribb sends them from its own inboxes and follows up twice. This feature is marked as beta.

Tracking, reporting and AI visibility

You can connect Google Search Console to see clicks, impressions and rankings per article. An AI visibility tracker checks prompts in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI answers and shows when your site is cited.

Distribb pricing

Distribb publishes two plans in USD. Both have a 7-day free trial.

PlanMonthly billingYearly billingMain inclusions
Pro$97 per month$79 per month ($948 a year)30 articles a month, auto keyword research, AI agent, backlinks, outreach research and drafts, CMS integration, AI images, content calendar, founder support calls
Accelerator$495 per month (shown reduced from $990)$399 per month ($4,788 a year)90 articles a month, plus done-for-you videos, Medium syndication, Instagram carousels and outreach campaigns, priority backlink placements and a WhatsApp group with the founders

When I checked, a limited offer showed the first month of Pro for $9. Extra websites can be added to a plan, but the price for that is not published.

Customer reviews

Distribb's Trustpilot page shows a mix of strong praise and serious complaints. Positive reviewers mention attentive support from the founders and help with backlinks and multiple locations. Negative reviewers say the tool published irrelevant articles despite instructions, linked to other sites against their wishes, and charged them at the start of a trial. One reviewer says the backlink exchange got their site penalized by Google. These are individual claims I cannot check, but the pattern is worth reading before you start a trial.

Is Distribb safe for your Google rankings?

  • The link exchange carries real risk. Google's spam policies list "excessive link exchanges" as an example of link spam. A network where customers swap contextual links with each other is close to that description, whatever quality controls sit on top. If your domain matters, I would leave this toggle off.
  • Mass AI publishing needs editing. Google's policies also cover scaled content abuse, meaning large numbers of pages made mainly to rank rather than help readers. Daily auto-published articles can drift into that if nobody reviews them.
  • It is not cheap for a small site. At $97 a month for Pro, you are paying for volume. Whether 30 articles a month is worth it depends on how much editing they need.
  • Some done-for-you social content goes out on accounts Distribb runs, not yours, so you do not build your own audience there.

Alternatives to Distribb

  • Outrank: another AI SEO autopilot that writes and publishes articles to your CMS, often compared with Distribb.
  • BlogSEO: AI blog automation aimed at small sites that want regular publishing.
  • Semrush or Ahrefs: full SEO research platforms for teams that want keyword, competitor and backlink data and to write content themselves.

Who should use Distribb

The best fit is a small company or software startup with no content marketing in place, a modest budget and a site it can afford to experiment with. In that case Distribb can replace the first months of an SEO strategy: picking topics, filling a content calendar and getting articles indexed. A marketing team that already has a writer, a keyword research tool and a growth plan will get less from it, because most of the value is in the automation rather than the analysis.

Agencies looking to handle several client sites should note that multi-site pricing is not published, so you would need to ask the founders for a quote.

Conclusion

Distribb packs a lot into one subscription: keyword research, automated articles, CMS publishing, outreach and tracking, with founders who are clearly involved in support. The weak points are the ones that matter most for SEO. The backlink exchange sits close to what Google calls link spam, and the customer reviews include complaints about irrelevant content and billing. I would only try it on a site I could afford to experiment with, with manual approval on and the exchange off. For a site that already earns money from search, I would pick a research tool and keep the writing in-house.
