What TeamPal is and who it is for
TeamPal is a no-code platform for building AI agents that handle business tasks. The idea is that you assemble an AI team, for example a sales analyst, a digital marketing specialist and an HR manager, each with its own skills, tasks, knowledge base and brand voice, then use them yourself or publish them for customer and employee support.
It covers marketing, sales, HR, operations, R&D, design and finance, and has industry pages for media, technology, retail and ecommerce, and travel and hospitality. I think it fits freelancers and small businesses best: people who want useful AI help for repeat tasks such as writing posts, drafting reports or answering common questions, without setting up prompts from scratch each time.
Key TeamPal features for sales, marketing and reports
AI agents and the agent library
TeamPal has more than 80 agent templates designed for specific functions across departments. You can start from one of those or create a custom agent and configure its skills and tasks. Pre-trained agents learn your business context from the company information you share when you set up the workspace.
Knowledge base and brand voice
You can add your own data to each agent’s knowledge base so answers are based on your documents. Upload limits depend on the plan, from 30 MB and 1,000 pages per file on Basic to 90 MB and 5,000 pages on Advanced. The brand voice setting keeps how agents write consistent across tasks.
Plugins and AI models
Agents can use more than 30 built-in plugins, including news search, Google search, an AI image generator and a document maker. TeamPal’s homepage lists GPT-4, GPT-4o, Claude 3 Haiku, Sonnet and Opus, and Gemini 1.5 Pro and Flash, so you can pick a model for each task. Those are not the newest models on the market, so it is worth checking the current list inside the app.
Workflows, mini-apps and MCP servers
Newer additions include workflows (automated multi-step tasks), mini-apps and MCP server support for connecting external tools. Workflows run on a separate workflow credit allowance.
Team collaboration and publishing
On plans with member seats, colleagues can customise and manage agents together. Agents can be tested, published and integrated into your existing workflow, for example as a customer support or employee support assistant.
TeamPal pricing and plans
TeamPal publishes these monthly prices. There is a 7-day free trial without a credit card.
| Plan | Price | Agents (published) | Credits a month | Workflow runs (approx.) | Knowledge base | Member seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Trial | Free for 7 days | 25 (5) | 600 per 7 days | About 20 | 10 GB | 0 |
| Basic | $19 | 25 (5) | 1,000 | About 20 | 10 GB | 0 |
| Pro | $39 | 30 (10) | 5,000 | About 60 | 50 GB | 3 |
| Advanced | $89 | Unlimited | 20,000 | About 150 | 100 GB | 10 |
Credits are charged whenever you interact with agents and mini-apps, including chats and knowledge uploads. Top-ups are sold as one-time packs (for example 1,000 chat credits for $5 or 1,000 workflow credits for $15), and extra member seats cost $9 per seat as a one-off lifetime purchase. Website purchases come with a 14-day money-back guarantee.
Lifetime deal. TeamPal ran a lifetime deal on AppSumo with four tiers from $69 (1,000 credits a month, no member seats) to $569 (30,000 credits a month, 15 seats). At the time of writing the deal is marked sold out.
Limits and drawbacks
- Credit limits. About 20 workflow runs a month on Basic is enough to try workflows, not to automate much. Heavy users will need Pro or top-up packs.
- Single user on Basic. Basic has no member seats, so teams should start on Pro or buy extra seats.
- Dependence on third-party models. TeamPal’s agents are only as good as the models behind them, and the model list on the site looks dated.
- Data handling. TeamPal says it acts as a gateway and does not retain your data, with stored chats encrypted. If you upload sensitive documents, read the privacy terms in full.
TeamPal alternatives
- ChatGPT Team or Claude Team give you a strong general assistant with project knowledge, without the agent library.
- Relevance AI is a more technical platform for building AI agents and multi-step agent workflows.
- Copy.ai focuses on marketing and sales content workflows built on AI.
Verdict
TeamPal is an easy way to give a small business a set of ready-made AI agents with its own knowledge and brand voice, and the prices are low. The agent templates and plugins make it more useful than a blank chat window for routine work.
I would use the 7-day trial to set up two or three agents for real tasks, watch how fast credits go, and check the models available. If it sticks, Pro is the sensible plan for most small teams.
