What the Agency Handy platform is and who it is for
Agency Handy is an agency management platform for digital agencies, freelancers and other service businesses that want to manage clients, orders and money in one place. It brings client management, a service catalogue, task management, invoicing and payments into one workspace, with a branded portal for your clients.
It is more opinionated than a general project tool such as Monday or ClickUp. The workflow it is built around goes like this: a client picks a service from your catalogue, fills in an intake form, pays, and then follows the project, shares files and gives feedback in their own portal. If you sell productised services (for example SEO packages, design retainers or monthly content), that flow fits well. Agency Handy says it is trusted by more than 100,000 customers. AppSumo lists the company as founded in February 2023 in Singapore, with 11 to 50 staff and pre-seed funding.
Agency Handy features
Service catalogue and client onboarding
You create service listings with pricing tiers, add-ons, upsells, coupons, setup fees and free trials, and publish them on a catalogue page. Clients can self-checkout, then complete an intake form so you collect the project details upfront. Forms cover intake, order and public form wizards, and leads can be converted to clients in the CRM.
Client management and the client portal
Each client gets a portal where they can see project progress, payments, files and messages without emailing you, which is where most of the time saving comes from when you manage a lot of small accounts. The client portal is part of every plan. The CRM covers leads, a visual lead pipeline, import and export, and client categories. Client conversation and internal team conversation are kept separate.
Task management, time tracking and team management
Orders turn into projects with tasks, deadlines and assignees, and the platform tracks progress for each one. You can assign tasks to clients, collect feedback and approval directly on shared files, track time with timesheets, and handle support requests through tickets. Proposals can be created, sent and tracked from the same place.
Invoicing, billing and payment options
Billing is built in, with automated invoices and reminders, subscriptions, multiple currencies, tax rates, custom VAT and a QuickBooks invoice option. Payments can go through Stripe, PayPal, Wise, crypto or manual bank transfer.
Branding and integration options
Logo, agency name and custom branding are on every plan. A custom domain and email, sidebar changes, your own scripts, an API key, webhooks and Slack integration start on Team Starter. The comparison table also lists Google Drive, Docs and Sheets, Figma, Gmail, Notion, YouTube, Airtable and Calendly, plus Zapier.
Agency Handy pricing, plan by plan
Agency Handy publishes these monthly prices, with discounts for yearly and 3-year billing. A 7-day free trial is available without a credit card. At the time of writing the pricing page was also running a yearly discount promotion.
| Plan | Monthly price | Users | Workspaces | Leads | Storage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Freelancer | $29 | 1 | 1 | 100 | 10 GB |
| Team Starter | $99 | 10 | 1 | 3,000 | 2 TB |
| Business Pro | $199 | 30 | 5 | 10,000 | 10 TB |
Business Pro adds a dedicated account manager, and Team Starter and above get priority support. There is a custom plan for larger agencies.
Agency Handy lifetime deal
Agency Handy has run a lifetime deal on AppSumo, with tiers from $74 (1 user, 1 workspace, 100 leads) up to $1,499. At the time of writing the AppSumo deal is marked sold out, and the lifetime tab on the vendor’s own pricing page also says sold out. If you already own a licence, the AppSumo terms say previous buyers can upgrade between tiers and are grandfathered into new features.
Limits and drawbacks for a growing team
- Key features sit on the team plans. Custom domain and email, webhooks, the API and Slack are not on Freelancer, so a one-person business that wants a fully white-labelled portal has to pay for Team Starter.
- Built for productised services. The service catalogue and order flow are the core. Agencies that quote every job from scratch get less value from that part of the product.
- Not a full project planning tool. Tasks, time tracking and tickets cover delivery, but there is no sign of Gantt charts or resource planning in the published feature list.
- No refund on cancellation. The pricing FAQ says cancelled subscriptions stop at the end of the billing period, with no refund.
Agency Handy alternatives and how they compare
- SuiteDash is a long-running all-in-one client portal with CRM, projects and invoicing.
- FuseBase combines a team workspace with branded client portals and AI agents, with less focus on selling services.
- HoneyBook covers proposals, contracts and payments for freelancers and small creative businesses.
Verdict
Agency Handy does a good job of the full journey for a productised service business, from the service catalogue and checkout through tasks, file approvals and invoicing. Putting that in one branded portal is the main reason to choose it.
With the lifetime deal sold out, I would judge it on the subscription. The entry plan is fair for a solo operator who does not need a custom domain, and agencies with a few staff should look at Team Starter. Use the 7-day trial to set up one real service and client before you commit.
